Hickory Grove Youth Ministry
The Hickory Grove Youth Ministry exists to help teens build life-changing connections with God, others, and their world!
Splash
One of our main goals is to help students make a SPLASH in their world. By that we mean that we want to help them affect others personally with the love of Jesus Christ. So you will sometimes hear us talk about "Splash" events or "Splash" projects. These are happenings that involve getting teens to serve and make a difference for others. Some of these service & mission opportunities take place at different times and places throughout the year, but below is a list of ongoing ministry teams and opportunities.:
**Take the Spiritual Gifts Survey and find out what your spiritual gifts are.**
GROW Team
GROW is a church-wide outreach strategy that consists of 4 different teams that meet and serve a different week each month. The Youth GROW Team meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 in the Music Suite. Along with parents and youth workers, students will engage in door to door visitation, phone calls, and personal letter writing to reach out to their community. This is an awesome opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others and invite them to our church.3D Leadership
As we follow Christ, we are also called to lead others to Him. 3D Leadership is an opportunity for students to take ownership in our youth ministry
and be a servant-leader. Those who commit to student leadership will be on our "3D Leadership Team." If you are interested, please click on the
"Grove Student Leadership Application" link and prayerfully consider the calling and commitment to being a servant-leader in our youth ministry.
