One of our main goals is to help teens make a SPLASH in their world. By that we mean that we want to help them affect others personally with the love of Jesus Christ. So you will sometimes hear us talk about "Splash" events or "Splash" projects. These are happenings that involve getting teens to serve and make a difference for others. Enjoy reading some of the splashes on this page that our teens are making in their world.
When teens give an offering at Thirst or place tip money in the jar at the Grove Cove Cafe, all of those funds go towards our support of Nui (Urairat) in Thailand. For $30 a month, we provide education, medical, and living expenses for this teenage girl whose dad was tragically killed in the infamous Tsunami. And more importantly, we are reaching out to Nui with the love of Jesus in a very real and tangible way. So let's keep giving sacrificially to help Nui.
We have just completed taking up supplies and an offering for Haiti Relief. The soap, toothbrushes and washcloths we collected will be taken to Simon Kenton High School to be eventually taken to Haiti.
The offering we have collected will be given to a local organization called "Freedom Haiti" which is working feverishly to help local Haitians rebuild their country. Way to go, teens for a great effort at helping others and making a splash for Jesus!
