The Hickory Grove Youth Ministry exists for students to Love God, Love Others, and Lead Others to Love God!

Welcome!

Teens can “Feed their 5,000” by participating in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine on May 10 – 11. This is a juice fast (juice and water only) for 30 hours that raises awareness of the worldwide hunger problem and challenges teens to look beyond themselves to others in need and become a servant-leader! Students will know what it feels like to go without food for only 30 hours, compared to the millions who go to bed hungry every night. Stomachs will ache, but not near as much as our hearts will ache for those who suffer from hunger. This is an opportunity to raise money to fight world hunger and become more educated on the devastating effects of hunger and what we can do to help. It is also a “Fasting 101” that can help students grow closer to God, each other, and dare to make a difference in the world through the transforming love and power of Jesus Christ.
